"There are points on the spiritual path when psychotherapy can be really helpful."
~Ram Dass
Life can be challenging. Having someone to hold space for our growth and difficulties can deepen and support our process. It is also stress-reducing. Studies show that speaking with someone about our difficulties or simply talking about meaningful or important things in our lives reduces stress and improves the quality of life. Sometimes having another person listen, receive, and offer new perspectives can make a crucial or significant difference in our daily lives.
When meeting clients, I get a sense of who they are and how they can benefit from the work, and then together we agree on a plan for therapy.
I work a lot with helping clients center themselves in a way that helps them access and utilize their intuition more readily. In the context of the work I do, intuition would be characterized as becoming more aware of and intune with ourselves and our environment, including other people. From a place of being more centered and mindful one is able to greater access his or her innate wisdom and connect in the world to a greater degree. From this place we are more likely to feel our soul, experience our authentic, core selves and life's synchronicities.
